My dear family,
This week was a lot of fun, I did all the things none of the locals will do but tell us we have to do at least once in our life. We saw Phillip Phillips, John Williams, and Jordan Sparks in the concert on the capitol lawn. Watched part of the parade. Watched the fireworks through the monuments on the National Mall. Then we walked the five miles home because the metro was way too crowded and saw some of the monuments at night.
Mom requested pictures so they are below. My companion Hunter Boody met up with us and spent most of the day and the night with me. It was good to spend time with him.
I also think you should all watch this short clip. The story of the soldier that is shared is a perfect example of how I believe we ought to face obstacles.
