I had a great week, hope you all did too!
Took a date to the Roosevelt Island Monument….just kidding, we got lost and never actually made it to the Island but we went on a nice long walk (almost 10 miles). We did see the memorial below and then walked across a sweet bridge and visited Georgetown.
Got to go to the Air and Space museum and see the new How to Train Your Dragon Movie.
I invited my non-member roommate to sit in on the lesson when my home teachers came over yesterday. He did and afterward I asked him to join me for my appointment next Saturday with the missionaries and they would teach him a similar lesson about the basics of the church. He said he should be able to make it. Please pray that his heart will be open and that we can have the spirit in our apartment.
