I think everyone knows now, but I am going to DC for the summer to work with Senator Hatch.  It is going to be fun, I am going to get lost, and Mom said I am going to change the world, so get ready for that.

I have decided that I like Colorado best out of all of the grad schools I have visited, but I am trying to make it out to California in a few weeks to see if I like that one.  I really have been blessed with great opportunities.

I was way out in the woods in my truck again and a police officer came out to see what we were doing.  He was really nice and we visited for a while, since we weren’t doing anything illegal.  I realized that the four experiences I have had with police officers since I bought my truck have all been while I was on a date or on the phone with one of the relief society presidents in this area.  Uh-oh

I realized this week that I need to organize more activities at my apartment.  I don’t really enjoy them but it is just soo sad for me to see good people who are having a hard time because their roommates do things that are not conducive to the Spirit and I don’t think that should happen.  I feel we need to allow them to have activities to escape to if they can not escape to their own home.

On a date this week, we were up in the canyon and we went to leave and my truck would not start. Neither of us had cell reception so I was afraid we’d have to set up my tent for me and let her sleep in the truck, but I left my key in the ignition and luckily the power came back a few minutes later and we made it home.  I am pretty sure one of my wires is loose, but I can’t figure out where.

I broke my rib playing soccer this week. I can’t play for a month.  First broken bone!  But I don’t get a cast. …

Love ya,
Ryan
