Below the dotted line is the message that I thought I sent to you last week, but I guess I forgot the I after BYU. Oh well, you get two this week. I did get the letters from mom, two of them. I remember dad throwing that letter to me and I forgot about it. So now I guess you can activate it. Thanks. Oh and I already bought new scriptures, I was wondering why you never sent me a dear elder telling me whether or not I could buy new ones. By the way, I had asked you in the below letter for them. I finally got sick of waiting for your answer when I ripped another page out of my BoM so I just bought a new set, thanks.
Life is pretty good here, and I only have one week left until I get to actually start teaching. Oh, guess what mom? Elder Busche and his wife gave the devotional last week. I got to go and talk to him after. He talked about grandpa in his talk but didn’t mention his name.
Hey, when is Kristies play? Don’t forget to record it if you still can. Is Scott married yet? He still hasn’t sent me any letters, I wrote him soo much while he was in the mtc. The work here is fun and the more I do it the more I look forward to doing this the rest of my life. The gospel is the only thing I think I could stand doing for so long. Sorry dad, but I would get really sick of being an accountant after a day or two. We get to do phone calls and it is amazing to see how many people are really interested in learning about the gospel, many of them have never heard ogf the Book of Mormon and the never considered the idea that Christ visited all Gods children. The BoM fascinates them and they want to learn more asap. We sometime give people most of the first lesson over the phone. I can’t wait to get to really talk to people face to face.
Well that’s all I think I want to write today. Thanks for everything.
Love Elder Ryan J Allred
